Hello! I’m Imane El Fouar, a photographer and filmmaker based in Marseille, South of France.

As a devoted observer of everyday life, I find constant inspiration in the world around me.

Photography is a way for me to slow down, notice what hides in plain sight and make the invisible visible. I like to explore emotions, forms, light, colors and patterns of ordinary moments. I am usually drawn to moments that are striking, raw, and thought-provoking enough that it lingers in the mind and ignites a sense of recognition in the viewer.

My photographs are less a pursuit of perfection than a study of presence, of the brief trace of something real before it slips away.
I am not a technical photographer in the conventional sense; I aim to convey the emotion or essence of a moment rather than to document its exact appearance.

If I have a mission, it is to remind people of the beauty that exists in what we often overlook and to unveil what is felt before it is seen.

Over time, this way of observing the world has shaped the way I work with people and places. Today, I prioritize natural light and real situations so each image remains faithful to what is genuinely experienced.

I create personal branding photography, documentary portraits and event photography for entrepreneurs, creatives, brands and individuals who seek imagery that feels cinematic, authentic and clearly translates who they are, what they do and the stories they want to share.
